The AFT Robert G. Porters Scholars Program offers 10 one-time, $1,000 grants to AFT members who seek to advance their careers in their field of study. The brief application asks you to indicate your area of study as well as some financial need. You can view the application at http://www.aft.org/benefits/scholarships/eligibility.cfm.
