Yesterday, AFT President Randi Weingarten talked to MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace about how testing, tracing, physical distancing and resources can help us reopen the country. Weingarten stressed that “We need to open safely and carefully for our economy, for parents and kids’ sanity, to handle instructional loss and inequity. But if we don’t do this safely and carefully, it’s going to be a huge mess.”
