This Thursday, June 6th, the Rhode Island Board of Education is expected to vote on renewal/non-renewal of Commissioner Gist’s contract. The meeting will be held a CCRI in Warwick at 5:30 p.m.
The agenda and the exact location at CCRI have not yet been posted, but are expected to be available no later than Tuesday. They can be found at: http://www.ride.ri.gov/
It appears that the Governor and the Chair are listening and hearing the concerns of educators, so it is not too late to call and email to voice your opinion. CALL TODAY!!
