RIDE posts FY20 Governor Recommended Aid
The Governor’s Recommended Fiscal Year 20 education aid information has been posted on RIDE’s State Education Aid webpage. Please note that the recommend FY 20 education aid includes the following updates from the previously posted requested aid:
- An increase of recommended funding for the English Language Categorical to $5m
- A retroactive FY19 adjustment to the FY20 aid due to the Division of Municipal Finance updating data in their FY19 EWAV file that was used to originally calculate the FY19 requested education aid
- An adjustment based off of proposed budget changes for funding for students who attend the DCYF training school
