Tomorrow is Holocaust Remembrance Day

Each year on Jan. 27—the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau—the world observes International Holocaust Remembrance Day. However, teaching about the Holocaust and equipping students with the tools to debunk disinformation around its history is important year-round. While learning about human suffering and disturbing tragedies can be difficult, it’s important for educators to fill in troubling knowledge gaps. Share My Lesson has collaborated with partners like the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, ADL and more to bring you this collection of free Holocaust lesson plans and educational resources to raise students’ awareness about the Holocaust and help them analyze its impact on the world today.
